Don't wipe it out yet!! I am a certified BodyPump instructor and currently not certified by ACE or AFAA(and at the time of my certification) my regular certification had lapsed. While I am working on get recertified (I'm switching from ACE to AFAA) I find BodyPUMP to be excellent. Yes, you do need to go through a club that already has it, so is licensed. The issue is that some instructor's who are certified to teach it don't like the quarterlies, which are no longer REQUIRED. I personally fount the training superior and that it has improved my instruction in other classes over all. Members LOVE it and if you are choreography impaired, this is the workout for you because as an instructor you only have to memorize, not create it. I would call a few clubs and see it they are in need of more instructors, most are because some get certified and think it's too much - I personally don't get it. They may be willing bring you on teaching other classes and then once you're hired, you can register for training with that club as your licensed club.
