Anyone know about Irritability Contractions?

I think I may have these, I know I have the braxton-hicks for sure, but I am just about ready to call my dr. The only thing holding me back is that i see him next week and I fear he will put me on bed rest or have me go to labor and delivery for monitoring and I cannot do that right now (I mean, I will of course, but am afraid to) because of my personal training business and my involvement with my small children at home. They need me. I don't have anyone to help me. I don't know what to do. Anyone else experience this before? I am almost down to no exercise at all now, because 3 min into it, I am in severe pain. I am into my 26th week...

Thank you,
Clarissa

never heard of irr ctx, but i had bh ctx all the time, just had my 3rd baby.

if you really do need bed rest its best for your growing baby - take it easy!

busy w/ kids - bbl....

I had irritable contractions while pregnant with my 1st. i was placed on bed rest from 32 weeks until i delivered at 39 weeks on my own(water broke). I was slowly dilating but the bed rest was not necessary. My pregnancy was the same with my 2nd but this time the did nothing. It was frustrating during my 1st pregnancy because when they put me on the monitor i was contracting but i was not in labor. I would drink a ton of water right now and try to relax, if they dont stop call your dr. hope this helps

Yes, thanks - your responses helped! I will talk more to my doctor this Wed and see what he says. I just can't imagine NOT working out and worse yet- being on bed rest. I am a fitness fanatic! Thanks again,

Clarissa
