I don't get e-mails anymore when I get subscribe to a topic. Anyone else have this problem?

I had this problem when using a comcast email even though I let all spam through. Once I change my email to yahoo I get topic subscriptions. It would be nice for cathenation.com to get the email problem resolved because I much prefer my comcast email and I hope I don't have to let all spam through I think I got 2 emails this morning about VIAGRA! I've never had those before.

Yes! I have this problem also. The strange thing is that yesterday I posted in a thread about the new Batman movie, never subscribed and received 2 email notifications before I unsubscribed to that thread. But my checkin thread that I subscribed to doesn't notify me of new postings at all.

I haven't selected a topic and subscribed to it, but my settings were set so that if I reply to a thread, I automatically am subscribed to it and I was getting email notifications for those updates.
You can change that setting through your UserCP page so you aren't automatically subscribed to threads you respond to. Look under Edit Options.
Edited to add...just tested the general subscription feature, where you select a thread and subscribe to it. It works for me too.

You're correct - that's the way my options are setup (to automatically subscribe to threads I've posted to) but I still have the other problem. Wonder what would happen if I unsubscribed and posted?
