We may have an opportunity that would take us to Mobile, AL. We're planning a trip up there at the end of this month or beginning of August. Can anyone provide a feel for Mobile or any surrounding communities? Housing? I'm sure insurance rates are high, but we're used to hurricane rates since we are in Florida currently. Employment? How is unemployment compared to the rest of the country? Is the oil spill hurting the communities? What about recreation and things to do? Any info would be appreciated!
