Anyone familiar with Bendy Body?

Has anyone tried this? I just came across this site last night and am interested in the Bendy Body DVD. I have been looking for some deep stretching/movement and this looks like it may do it. I really like Lastics. I have tried several Yoga videos and just don't care for it - doesn't get deep enough for me or focus on areas I would like. I have PiYo and I enjoy that, but it does not stretch me out at all.

I am nowhere near as flexible as the instructor, but looks like beginners can benefit from this.

Any input is appreciated!

Hey Gobias:

I have no personal experience with this lady's techniques and videos. I have seen her on Mary's site, totalfitnessdvds.com. I think, of the three, Bendy Body is definitely the more generic of her videos, more accessible to most and most comprehensive to an athlete, or Cathlete!, seeking to simply improve flexibility, and therefore, athletic performance.

It's more time spent on flexibility training than I am open to, but I don't think you can really go wrong if you invest in this DVD and give it a whirl. Be a pioneer, try it out, post a review here and persuade us all that we need this DVD!

Clare, I am one step ahead of you! I ordered the Bendy Body and the Shoulder Stretch on Tuesday from Mary (where both are currently on sale!) and they should arrive to me next Monday. I decided not to get "Get Bent" because it is focused on splits and that just isn't going to happen at this point in my life.

I don't mind a 60 minute intense stretch at one time, however I was reading the 2 workouts I bought from her are chaptered quite nicely if you want to shorten it or focus on a specific body part. That is nice because I usually do Lastics (no chaptering and the layout isn't set to do just half the video at a time) and every once in awhile I would like to do a shorter stretch.
