Anyone Else Read This Article in August Oxygen?

Did anyone else read Tosca Reno's column in the Aug Oxygen about how to define your lower abs? It had a section on exercises and then talked about diet and going to bed hungry (my main problem - can't sleep when I'm hungry). That last thing she mentioned was that she takes Bee Pollen as it helps with appetite control and flushes fat out of the system in addition to being full of enzymes, aminos and other things that are good for you. I just wondered if anyone's heard of this before? Also, has anyone tried the ab exercises and diet advice and see results?
