Anyone else crave more cardio?

I'll bet a day's pay that Cathe's cardio version of STS, after the strength version of STS, will underline that old adage: "Beware what you wish for for you will surely get it."

And get it, and get it, and get it until we are all one collective puddle on the floor.

I dearly love cardio, and buy Cathe's strength training productions simply to get ideas for lifts for my regular routine (which I don't vary from week to week). However, given the short shrift that strength training, REAL strength training, for women still gets in the home-ex market I totally applaud Cathe for keeping her focus on that crucial aspect of fitness.

Yes, I feel like I have a ton of strength options, not only her workouts and all the premixes, but I can lift with the really heavy weights in the garage with my dh if I want too.

I will buy STS, because I don't want to miss out:p and because I'm intrigued by it,but I was really hoping for more straight cardio workouts or the boxing series next.

In the mean time, I'll be giving more other instructers a chance with cardio. I just purchased some Amy Bentos, which I love and I'm really keeping my eye on her. I'm also thinking about runervals to get more effective use out of my treadmill. This is going to force me to branch out and try other people for cardio, because I think more Cathe cardio is going to be some time in coming.

I'm also glad that Cathe is encouraging women to take weight training seriously. Whatever she does is excellent. She's the gold standard of home workouts in my book.

I really like the 4DS combo of cardio and weights. Since it's only a 4 Day split and not a 6 or 7 day split, there are other days where I can get my cardio fix. I especially like the Nov. rotation--most of the days that Cathe lists as "off" I am doing a straight cardio w/o. It allows me to get a great mix of cardio only days, weight only days, and both on one day.
