Anyone do the "abbreviated" version of S&H???

I have heard that some people are "shortening" up the S&H workouts by cutting them in half per body group and then doing the other half later on in the week...

For instance, I did S&H chest (flat bench only work), S&H back (first two sets of exercises only), S&H Shoulders (first two sets of exercises only) and S&H Triceps (first two sets of exercises only). This took about an hour plus I added some ab work at the end.

I figure later on in the week I'll go back and do the "other" exercises (i.e. incline benchwork for chest).

Anyway, I just wanted to know if anyone else has done this or something similar to S&H and how has your results been???

I've shortened the workout by doing chest, just bench work without doing the incline versions and doing 2 sets, back, 2 sets of everything. With the triceps, 2 sets and 1 set of dips, biceps, 2 sets without the wrist curls, shoulders, 2 sets. I've only done this a couple of times when I was short on time and wanted to get the whole upper body in. When I've done this, I try to go a little heavier since I'm not doing all the sets. It still fries.
