I am 4.5 months postpartum at this point and am exclusively breastfeeding. Doc says its a common complaint and will pass. This is really affecting my ability to lose the pregnancy weight because my hands hurt a lot! And unfortunately, the things that hurt the most are the things I normally enjoy the most (and therefore am most likely to make time for lol) - yoga and resistance training. Downward dog and other positions with weight on my hands and wrists are painful and of course these are the transitions between most all poses in a good flow. I have used some VERY light weights where I would usually use 3x more and have had only minor discomfort so I could try upping the weight at this point. I guess I'm wondering if I should just move through the pain or can I hurt myself doing that? Anyone else dealing with persistent carpal tunnel?
