I'm 5'2" and I tried the 10-inch before I "met" Cathe because my other step videos weren't "intense" enough after working up. I'm happier on 8" with Cathe, however. I've been tempted to try 10" on some of her less intense workouts, but I think 10" would be way too much on my joints with the power moves. The funny thing is I'm much more comfortable on 8" than 6", especially for lunges off the board, because on 6" I don't have as far to go down and I end up jamming my knees.
