Anybody read "The Shack"

I have been reading this book since Friday. My mind is doing backflips...
For those of you who have read it....am I alone or just dense?
For those of you who have not...READ it so that I don't feel all alone!

I read it a week ago and I want to read it again. So much to take in. It was wonderful! My prayer group and I have all read it and discuss it frequently. There is a ton of information to think about. I am thankful that "Mack" tends to condense or re-state everything The Three say to him. Otherwise I would be totally confused.

It is a great read, though! Have you finished?

Not yet...I have a few more pages to go. I think that I get the base premise but it is WAY too much information at once. Makes you want to buy Cliff Notes like back in the day!

I bought this without realizing that it was a religious-type read (which about halfway throuhg, I now realize it is). So far it's good but I, too, feel a little lost as I read along.

I actually mentioned this book to someone the other day and she actually knew the publisher and the writer! Now I have to finish it and report back to her!

Yes, I feel the same. I am only a few pages from the end today. I definitely think this book will need to be re-read to grasp ALL of it. This is definitely NOT a light read.

Thanks for the reply...I guess I am not an expert at Theology and I feel inundated with the amount of information presented to Mack at the shack. I can grasp the overall concept...maybe I am expecting too much too soon.

I really don't have any specific questions, I guess I am just a little overwhelmed.

Finished.

I finished it last night. I feel a sense of peace knowing that the ending tied everything together for me and I no longer feel lost. WHEW!

I would recommend this as good read!
