Anybody have a dumbbel rack or plate rack?

I am moving my basement (aka my workout room) around and have all these barbell plates and dumbbels laying around. I am in the market for a plate rack and a dumbbell rack. Any suggestions on where, either online or brick & mortar, that I can buy one of each at a good price?

TIA

Gayle

I have both a dumbbell rach (Body Solid) and a weight plate rack (can't remember the name off-hand, as I'm in the office). I ordered both of them online, and found them after doing a search on "dumbbell rack" or "weight rack."

I'd really like one on wheels so I can easily store it in the closet & pull out when I want to work out.

I bought both on Ebay. Even with shipping (which they discounted since I bought both), it was a bargain.

I bought my Father In Law a dumbell rack last year at Sears for $40.00...two tiered Weider (I think). Heard no complaints and his dumbells are on it.

WOW! Cool, guys, Thanks! I am going to do some shopping this weekend. LOL. I figure since I've bought everything Cathe and there's nothing left to buy, I may as well move onward. LOL.

I want one too! I have a squat rack so I can squat heavy by myself, and with that in the way, plus the bench, plus all the dumbbells and barbells there's no room for ME! LOL Glad to see these suggestions! Thanks for posting!

I bought my dumbbell rack from Sam's. It was kind of expensive because it came loaded with the rubber encased dumbbells. I love it.

Marla,

I'll let you know if I find anything today. My weights are in a closet off of my family room and it would be so convenient having a rack on wheels. I hate carrying them back after i've lifted. Such a hassle! Keep me posted if you find something before I do.

Hey, if you all find one with wheels, please post the info. I looked in Walmart last week but I didn't like what they had in the store... it was clunky and not a good bargain, but I desperately need both, right now I pull my plates out of the closet on a towel....;-)

I looked a little bit online and found www.newyorkbarbells.com. Some of their stuff has free shipping, but the prices are pretty high, compared to what some of you paid at Dick's, WM or Sam's.

Let's keep each other posted if we find anything. I'll probably be doing some shopping at the malls and stuff this weekend.

Thanks for all the input.
