Any way to reduce PMS water bloat?

Any one have any suggestions or tricks that work for reducing the water bloat that occurs right before TOM? My lower belly swells so much I look pregnant. It seems that the 2 lbs or so of water weight gain that I get each month goes straight to my belly.

Try to reduce consumption of alcohol and caffeine as well as sugar and salt.

I have read that drinking green tea will also help reduce pms symptoms and acts as a dieuretic.

Not sure if you are interested in supplements or not, but I have read that some people have seen a difference by taking evening primrose oil daily, as well as vitamin b6. I personally have a hard time remembering to take them - so don't do this...

But here is a link to a post on pms from Dr Weil's site.

Isn't there a form of motrin that contains a diuretic (makes you pee) called Motrin PMS? That'd work. That being said, caffeine is probably the thing to have, rather than the thing to avoid, as it is also a diuretic.

Eat a cucumber a day during your cycle and a day before and after-You'll pee like crazy but you won't get bloated. Plus cucumber are really good for you!!!
