Hi All, My husband and I were invited to a 40th birthday party and the theme is Mardi Gras. I'm afraid we are going to have to dress the part and am at a lost of where to start. All suggestion and ideas are welcome. PLEASE!

Mardi Gras colors are purple, green and yellow so make sure you wear those colors! Just go to a costume/party supply store and buy tons of beads (in mardi gras colors) and anything you want. Masks, crowns, feathers, hats, wigs, etc. Pretty much anything goes as long as it's silly, wacky, colorful, sparkly, and over the top. Here's a link that might help.
