Any kombucha drinkers out there?

So I just picked up a bottle over the weekend when I saw this woman ahead of me in line with bottles of it which struck my interest. Then the cashier was raving about it and she was also drinking one at the time. I really liked it and bought a few more bottles today. Synergy has all kinds of delicious flavors...today I had mango. Its supposed to be a health tonic of some sort.

I do notice after drinking half a bottle I feel slightly "buzzed" by it...while it only has .5% alcohol content. It's delicious. I'm thinking of getting a whole case if I can.

I tied it in a green tea, it was good as a little pick-me-up in the morning, DW couldn't stand the smell of it, though, and I had to stop.

have heard good things about it, though.

I discovered it last year, and have drunk it on and off since then. I get a bit of a buzz feeling from it as well (in fact, the first time I drank it, I was driving home from the store I bought it from, and I was wondering what would happen if I got pulled over by the police: does .o5% alcohol show up on a breathalizer? LOL! I have maybe one beer a year, so I was actually concerned about the effect it would have, especially after the way it made me feel).

I haven't had it regularly for a while, but I've tried pretty much all the flavors GT offers. Because it's not cheap, I have bought it by the case (with a discount) in both regular and the citrus/lemon. I do find that some batches may be a bit overdone, as they taste more vinegary than beer-like.

I took one to a potluck as my BYOB!

Haha...byob...I like that!

I do drink wine every weekend but I still get a little buzz from this. I just don't think its from the alcohol in it since its so minimal. Its not like an I can't function buzz, it was like a pleasant little pick me up buzz but NOT like caffeine...different.

Getting by the case sounds like my next logical choice because $2.99 is alot per bottle.

>Where do you get this stuff from? I'd love to try it!

I get mine at a natural foods market. If you have a Whole Foods or Trader Joe's near you, they might have it.

You can find a retail store that carries GT's Kombucha here: http://gtskombucha.com/wheretobuy.html

(Though the listings are incomplete, because the store where I buy it isn't listed).
