I had purchased a polar ft7 and used it for about a week and didn't care for it. I found the watch too uncomforable during planks and push ups and the chest strap would stop recording during certain exercises. So I returned it. I heard about the Fitbit and was looking into that, more spec. the Fitbit Zip (the clip on model). Anyone try this or any of the other Fitbit products including their online tracking program. I would like to get some feed back before purchasing. Thanks in advance.

I totally love my fitbit, but just as an fyi, it does not record heart rate. It is really a very different tool than a polar. The fitbit records your daily steps, levels of stairs climbed and, if desired, sleep disturbance.

The polar ft7 is for heart rate and calories. I am also a person that did not like wearing the watch. I opted for the polar h7, which is just a strap that connects to a smartphone app via bluetooth. So I just prop my phone up and view my numbers on there. But you still have to wear the chest strap, which sounds like was problematic for you before. I have to say though, this polar h7 chest strap has worked out really well for me.

My Polar is too big for my wrists too - so when I'm going to be doing plank / push ups etc, I fasten it to my bra strap!!!

My polar is too large for my wrists too. I just wear a tennis sweat band on my wrist and put the watch on top of it. That works for me.

Thanks for the input everyone. I'm still not sure what I'll do about this. I may just buy one at my local Target so if I don't like it, I don't have to pay return shipping.
