Any good low impact high intensity cardio only non step dvds?

The title says it all! Have all of Cathe's low impact stuff but need more cardio only (non step) high intensity workout dvds and don't want to have to modify. Oh and of course they have to be fun and have great music. Do such dvds exist?

For me, kickboxing is the easiest to keep low impact and still keep my heart rate up. You said you have all of Cathe's... maybe try Kelly Coffey-Meyer or Tracey Staehle. I know Amy Bento also has a bunch of kickbox-ish workouts but I haven't purchased them because the clips look like a mix of hi-lo and KB and too much high impact for me to modify. Maybe someone who has some of hers can confirm or deny this.

You can always get some walking DVDs like Leslie Sansone but they definitely do not qualify as high intensity. But there are times when they are just what I need.

hope this is helpful.

You can also put hand weights on to crank up the intensity on the kickboxing. There's someone on vf forum who walks on a treadmill while wearing handweights and doing things like bicep curls, overhead presses, and a variety of arm things and she gets in an amazing cardio workout while toning her arms.

I find doing any of Cathe's leg strength training DVDs is a very high intensity cardio workout without any impact involved. I don't know if you can do squats and lunges, since you don't want to do step, maybe you have knee issues with knee flexion. But if you don't, just try Butts and Guts. Or STS meso 1 and 2 legs.

Wendy is right. Kelly Coffey-Meyer specializes in step boxing, which you might give a whirl. It's totally different from Cathe step workouts. Tracy Staehle's kickbox will definitely be easier to modify to low impact, do kicks instead of jumps, but Amy Bento's kickbox........not so much.
