another troll

More than likely it is the same AOL user as yesterday. We have enough log files on the person to probably determine who it is and to ask AOL to take action to shut them down. Brian, who is in charge of IT will be in tomorrow and we will turn this over to him tomorrow to investigate. Brian use to work for the FBI as a computer forensic expert and is pretty good at putting a stop this kind of nonsense. For now just please ignore the obvious troll and let us know if you see anymore post. We are watching this closely and will delete the threads as quickly as we see them.:)

As Cathe stated in the other thread, it's probably a good idea to inform Cathe/SNM of trolls via PM, so they get as little attention as possible on the forums (and when posts announce their presence, there are often other forum members who want to know what they missed, what the troll wrote, etc., just adding more fuel to their--the trolls'--fire).

Nah. It's not that this site is attracting those types of people. They are spammers. They sign up at dozens of sites and post links in hopes that people will click on them.

I'm a moderator at another forum, and we delete spammer accounts daily - usually more than once a day. It IS a hassle, though. x(
