I just zoomed through the other thread that is asking you lots of questions about your fitness regimen.I didn't want to post my question there b/c I was afraid you wouldn't see it.
I noticed that you mentioned the Bowflex.Well,DH bought one a year ago.I tried using it but I didn't really enjoy it.I did go heavier then I would with handweights but I still wasn't sore the next day.I feel like I should try it again b/c I don't want to feel like it was a total waste of money. How much higher do you go with weights when you use the bowflex? Any percentage or did you just keep going higher until you figured it out? And are you normally sore after you use it?
Thanks,
Lori:)

Hi Lori,
Sometimes I am sore the next day and sometimes I am not. It is the same with free weights as well. I tried different exercises at first and found the ones I could feel in the area that I was working the most. Then I worked through the weights to figure out what was very hard to complete around 8 reps with. I also went through the exercises on S&H and figured out how I could do almost every exercise on the Bowflex. Ones I still use free weights for on lower are Plie squats and Deadlifts. I prefer it that way. I did a total lower body as heavy as possible for 5 sets each exercise on Monday increasing some of the weight and was sore. Try it out I am sure if you work it out you will find it very effective.
