<--went on a cruise 1 1/2 years ago and had the best time of <--'s life!
<--kiddlies were occupied with their program and <-- had to literally drag them to meals and sight seeing
<-- and DH learned to spin, relaxed in hot tub, and saw cheesy shows, <-- didn't even gamble or drink adult beverages :eek:
<--says, CONGRATULATIONS, to Amy for promotion, <-- is sure Ame will do an outstanding job!
<--needs a treat :)
 
<---know what Michele means about all those fresh veggies - has had the same experience
<---has rethought the cruise thing and thinks it might not be a bad idea
<---apparently is going to have to sit around anyhow, so might as well do it someplace nifty and luxurious, like a cruiseliner
<---is incredibly angry at self, because <--- overdid it while on vacation and now last year's shin injury is back, drat, dang, shoot...
<---is practicing "clean cursing"
<---asks Michele if <--- can join in the brainstorming GTG supervision but won't interfere - just thinks it would be fun to watch
 
<---has read Kara's post re cruise and KIDDLIES ACTIVITIES totally caught <---'s eye:7
<---tells Amy for school work you'll find us with work spread out on the kitchen table, the kitchen island counter, boys' bedroom floor, o/s in the woods, on the porch, reading in the outside patio swing, etc.
<---adds for Amy <---has a small portable board, chalk one side, write-on/wipe-off other
<---says DS will sit and read for hours also and listen while read to <---says they have assigned reading which younger 2 narrate to <---and 11 yo is now writing summaries and evaluations <---assigns the classics as well as non-fiction for reading <--fun read are books of their choice (11 yo actually loves Robert Louis Stevenson and non-fiction science and history books for FUN READ as well as Harry Potter) and middle 8 yo loves all books about trains fiction and non-fiction and Harry Potter <---says gosh they read most anything they get their hands on
<---is proud to say 11 yo reads on 12th+ grade level and middle 8 yo reads on 10/11 grade
<---youngest 8 yo DS with HFA/CP who wasn't supposed to read or speak reads at 1st grade level now and is advancing most rapidly now that he's mastered the basics of phonics
<---tells everyone to blame Amy and TiGGer for asking <---the school questions <---will shush up now
 
<---posts again to say <---thinks y'all are funny waiting for <---and Shelley to rid the world of annoying people and resulting problems while you guys watch

<--just got back from walk w/DS and picked up milk and bread in <--'s travels!
<--got back just in time as weather took a turn for the worse and appeared as though rain would begin again...it also got chilly. :-(
<--must add that <--feels badly for those who do not have a Target near them as <--loves Target...*almost* as much as <--loves Kohls...and TJ Maxx...and...LOL!}(
<--must go ponder dinner now.

<-- ate 1/2 cantelope and a ton of berries (blue, black, and straw) for breakfast
<-- should warn you that the ETL plan has made a terrible mess of the kitchen garbage can
<-- swears, the less preservatives you eat, the more stinky your garbage gets
<-- is off to assemble a salad, switch some laundry, go to Longs, go to class, and then try and figure out the life changes that are going on right now!!! :p
<-- really needs to thank you ALL for all of your support while <-- was studying for the ACE exam, starting bootcamp, and every day since. <-- probably may (??) have been able to do it alone, but this way is *SO* much more fun and feels *SO* much better to be able to share all this stuff with you guys. THANK YOU from the bottom of <--'s heart. Really.

<--thinks the cookies are actually called Brent & Sam's or something, but we always call them Bert & Ernie's
