<--Says hello to all as <--waddles in to thread, late as usual
<--Made huge batch of <--'s famous fudge this weekend because <--planned on visiting with cousin who was in from out of town visiting <--'s mom (who lives nearby).
<--Didn't get a chance to visit and give cousin fudge so <--ate aforementioned fudge.
<--says <--gained TWO POUNDS just over the weekend.
<--Has designated one pound per thigh.
<--UGH
<--Has NO holiday self control
<--really enjoyed the fudge (with walnuts and currants) though.
<--Hopes you all are doing fabulously well, despite the cold
<--Would gladly shovel everyone's driveways to get to see some SNOW
<--sniff sniff
<--Didn't get even a flurry this weekend...
<--Would love to go caroling
<--Drives dear family nuts with <--'s lovely loud caroling in the car
<--Belts out "HAVE A HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS..." (my favorite carol)
<--Is getting SOOOOOO excited.. only one week until CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!!!!!!
<--Loves loves loves Christmas Eve and playing like Santa.
<--Is sure to have a belly like Santa's if <--keeps eating FUDGE!!!
<--Hugs to all!

<---loves Christmas eve along with Stephanie
<---wonders what you all do Christmas eve?
<---says we have traditional dinner of sausage stuffed shells, followed by church
<---loves Christmas eve service at church when we end with lit candles, singing Silent Night
<---says then the congregation carries candles out in front of church and sings Go Tell it on the Mountain to the traffic
<---heads home and feeds guests cheese, crackers, nuts, Bailey's, wine, cookies etc.
<---repeats that she loves Christmas eve

<--- thinks Robin's Christmas Eve sounds lovely
<--- thinks Robin does a lot of things that involve singing:p
<--- tells Stephanie to back away from the fudge
<--- will be spending Christmas Eve with the Poodle

<--Thanks Melissa for thinking <--is funny
<--'s husband just shakes head at <-- and calls <-- a dork
<--Thinks being a dork is a good thing, though
<--Loves Melissa's "AKA Boobie Gizzarddunkin"
<--Just updated <--'s name too
<--urges all the OALers to put their new names in their signature too
<--Thinks Robin's Christmas Eve sounds really great
<--Says <--'s family doesn't go to church on Christmas Eve because it's just a walk-in communion, and <--'s kids would have to go to nursery, which is no fun on Christmas Eve
<--Says <--'s church has a Moravian Lovefeast (last night) that sounds a lot like Robin's Christmas Eve service
<--Says at the Lovefeast, we sing Christmas songs, eat traditional Moravian sweet buns, drink coffee (all in the sanctuary) and listen to the choir. It ends with us all passing the light (candle by candle), which we take outside the church, to symbolize spreading God's light into the world. SO beautiful...
<--On Christmas Eve day, my parents come by for lunch and mom and I go to a local smoked ham shop and buy breakfast foods for the next day's brunch at her house. That night, just DH and DSs and I watch Christmas movies/drink eggnog until kiddos go to bed then it's Santa-time and <--drinks wine, watches A Christmas Story and It's A Wonderful Life while wrapping gifts. Then DH takes a picture with the camcorder of the Christmas tree with all the gifts. Then about two hours later, my oldest wakes us up...
<--Apologizes for such long post.
<--Got lost in the moment.

ETA:
<--THanks Shelley for the fudge intervention
<--Wishes <--had Shelley's willpower!!!
<--Won't have problem with fudge today, BTW. It's all gone.

<---has always been the first one up Christmas morning, even when the kids were small
<---oh, except one Christmas when Tristan was five and Emily was two:
Tristan woke up first and knew he was allowed to open the presents in his stocking. He opened his, ate all the chocolate Santas, chewed all the gum, then opened all of the gifts in Emily's stocking, ate all her chocolate Santas and chewed all of her gum. Luckily, we discovered it before Emily woke up and was able to rewrap all her gifts. Except the chocolate Santas and the chewed gum, of course...

<---Thinks she should go to Robin's for Christmas Eve...
<---Thinks our Christmas Eve is way BORING in comparison! Thinks Robin should adopt me...Exclaims "I am good!" :)
<---Edited to add that she thinks Steph's Christmas Eve sounds great!
<---Tells Steph that she is a dork in her house too! :)
<---Is LOL regarding Robin's description of Tristan and the stocking!!! Too Funny!

<--hopes the wiener dogs feel better soon and is glad wino Liann is better
<--sends hugs to the Muffster
<--has no wrapping paper to worry about
<--wonders if Shelley will play that computer game to pass the week
<--is happy to report that SO and his Dad enjoyed the game at Giants stadium and were very happy to see the Redskins win
<--'s SO made it home at 3:30 and is work today
<--wonders if he is front of the class teaching a lesson on zzzzzzzzzzz

<-- can't get over how chatty youse all are!
<-- says bootcamp was a success!
<-- always likes it when the workouts <-- design go over well :D
<-- is baking cookies for a cookie exchange party tonight
<-- gets to meet new kittens on Thursday!
<-- hopes the bootcamper who is their new mom is a good mom
<-- thinks it is very entertaining how nervous she seems!! :D
<-- was embarrassed at the behavior of <--'s kittens this morning as they tore around the house fighting with each other
<-- should go start a-baking and then start a-studying before <-- do some a-yogaing and a-showering and a-partying ;-)
<-- can't believe youse a-shovel at all; <-- wouldn't even know where to begin...
