Ok I'm breaking form here to give a brief, very brief run through.

Steve has always been on the whiney side but he's a good person and I love him. I've been with him for 10 years (since we were 18). However, lately (I mean the past year) it has gotten worse and worse. Even worse then that is that he has a mountain of debt, has spent way too much money and is complaining but not doing anything about it. He complains about our lack of time/things to do together but refuses to do anything about it (including therapy, which I want to do). He is depressed and complains but refuses to do anything about it (again including his own therapy, which I've begged him to do-- I'm not being judgemental, I'm in therapy/on medication...) He complains about his job but doesn't do anything about it.. He says he's sick of being in debt but doesn't do anything about it.. do you see the pattern here? I think the biggest problem is that I used to be alot like that but in the past couple years I've really started getting my act together. I don't want to be miserable for the rest of my life or be with someone who isn't willing to change things to make themselves happy, you know? I want a house, a family.. right now that seems like less and less a possibility. We never see each other because we don't have the same itnerests anymore OR he comes home from work and sleeps until 10, which is about when I go to sleep and then he gets up and plays video games or guitar until 2 am. It is a holy rolling wreck. Am I ready to walk away? No. Ten years is worth a fight. However, if things don't change, I don't know what I'm going to do.. I know I can't live like this and don't want to be with someone who is going to just stay this way. Does that make sense? I feel like I'm coming off very cold.

Sorry to break form to respond.. but I'm glad to have somewhere to vent.
