We all have things in our house, car, purse, etc that is made for ONE purpose, but we use it for something else. I discovered something brand new this week and wanted to share, and to see if you have any others to share as well.
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week and I'm in charge of it at our school. I've arranged for parents to donate food and drinks every day this week, which means lots of leftovers at the end of each day. One Mom that was helping me earlier this week is a hair dresser and she brought in the processing caps she uses on her clients who are getting a perm or a color treatment. The plastic, elastic-lined caps that go over the head to keep the color, heat, etc in. We used them to cover the food dishes instead of plastic wrap!!!! GENIUS! I was so impressed, I went to the beauty supply store and picked up a pack of 100 for $10 to use the rest of the week! I know they make these specifically for food, by Glad or Hefty or somebody, but these are super cheap!!!
