I can't believe I found this!!! When my depression was at it's worst, I followed my doctors' advice and began keeping a journal. I thumbed through some of the entries, until one really caught my eye...
I won't repeat it here, word for word, but the gist of it is....I had just finished a TaeBo Basic Live VHS workout, and at the end Billy Blanks makes a speech about welcoming us to the home of TaeBo in Sherman Oaks, California...I wrote about how lucky those people on the video were, being lucky enough to live close enough to the greatest name in home fitness, and what I wouldn't give to have the same opportunity to have the same kind of fun in my own backyard. I thought...hmmm, what a feeling that must be.
9 years later, I don't have to wonder anymore what that feels like, because I have the very same opportunity I could only dream of that long ago.
When I think of what it's going to be like in July, I get goose flesh.
Sure the leader in home fitness may have changed names and gender from years past..(Bye Bye Billy, hello Cathe!) but those same feelings are as strong as ever, and with over 100 people who feel the same way as I do, it's going to be unforgettable!
