Amy, I'm not trying to be nosey, but you've been on mind this week. I hope you and your loved ones are doing OK. Anyway, you all are in my prayers. When you can, please let us know how you're doing.
Was wondering how you & your neighbors are doing. I'm sure you have been tied up with calling hours, funeral and your cooking for them. Keep in touch and know we are thinking of you!!
Hi Aimee and Debbie!
Thanks so much for your prayers and thoughts. I was emotionally wiped out. It was the saddest funeral. Joe actually sang and played the guitar a couple of times ( what a fabulous singer and player ) -- it broke my heart--Swing low sweet chariot, It is well with my soul. You get the picture. And his 10 year old daughter sang Amazing grace. We plan to make them as much of a part of our lives as they will let us. Joe is so lost and I hope that we can help. His faith in God is keeping him going. I worry about him. I cooked for them all weekend. They put all the church lady food in the freezer and ate mine. It makes me feel so good that I can help out that way. Please keep me in your prayers. I need it.
Thanks you guys. You are the best!
Amy
We'll always keep you in our prayers. As well as Joe and his daughter. Please take care and let us know if you need anything, or if you just want to talk, or just to let us know how you're doing.
Good to hear from you. I will definitely remember you through this tough time. Your neighbor is lucky to have your help. How awesome that he and his daughter sang! Wow! That must have been hard. Hang in there. Sounds like a Cathe tape would be some good medicine for you! Keep in touch.
