Amy Bento's Kickboxing Extreme

Why do you love it or hate it? If I like her hi/lo extreme workout will I like her kickbox workout? I'm not concerned that she isn't trained in kickbox or using perfect form. Is it a fun and killer cardio workout? Is the music good? Are the moves so ridiculous they're laughable or is it a good time? Please share details about why you like it or don't like it. TIA!

Angela, the hi/lo is intense & the combos are very well put together. The kickbox is just plain funny. I think you nailed it when you describe the moves as "so ridiculous they're laughable." But an experienced exerciser (i.e. someone who does Cathe's stuff regularly) can usually take something like this & make it worthwhile.

For example, Chalene Johnson makes me insane & her kickbox form leaves much to be desired, but TJs are good for light days & I do modify a lot of her moves to make them more intense. So you never know.
 
I LOVE this workout because its a long cardio session (70min) the music is great, the moves are fun and I feel great when its done. Its now my fav. kickboxing video even above powerstrike.

I didn't think I was going to keep Kickbox Xtreme, but I got a great workout and enjoyed myself. Kathryn offers great modifications, if you do a search on this site, you'll find them. The music was good and the time went by fast. I was sweaty, sweaty, sweaty!!!
