Amnio results, and its a....

I got my amnio results. First and best of all, all the chromosonal tests came back normal. Yeah!!!

I had posted before I got pregnant how much I wanted a girl (but of course, I would have welcomed a boy, the reason for my preference was I have 2 boys and 1 girl already and I really wnated my daughter to have a sister).

DH and I tried the shettles method (we timed sex at least 2 days before ovulation) and the author claims a 85% or greater success rate.

Who knows if it worked or it was just chance, but:

ITS A GIRL!!!

My DH was just thrilled when I called him and so am I. My daughter is ver happy too. I can't wait to tell my son when he gets home from camp, he really wanted another sister also.

Congrats on the news of a healthy little girl......Thats great....
We also tried to conceive by having sex 3 days before ovulation in hopes for another girl...so who knows if ours will work out as well...
A healthy baby is all i can ask for...another girl would just be a bonus....

That is the best news! I am so happy for you. Also, congratulations on keeping with your weight gain goals. I know you always are saying you don't want to gain as much as your other pregnancies. Anyway, I hope you are feeling great!

It is so wonderful to read about your new pregnancy and that the baby will be a girl, like you wished for!

Keep us posted on your progress. I am just so happy for you. Remember when we posted right after having our babies that we wanted another one? Well, we will probably not have another baby...financially, it cannot happen. But, then again, man proposes and God may have other plans! :+

Congratulations!!! I used the Shettles method too and got a daughter after two boys (and I have five brothers so I knew I'd have to work!) Isn't it great? Best wishes and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.
