What a weird one last night, I thought. Paula must have handed over some of her medicine to Randy and Simon because after Chris sang and they made their comments, they were all on something with those remarks! CHRIS BLEW UP THE STAGE!!!!! It doesn't get any better than that in my opinion and why on earth would they tell him to sing other kinds of songs when he sings the songs he does like a real rock star? What do they want him to sing? A Barry Manilow song? Come on!!!!!x(

Mandiva (LOL) sang a touching song that came from her heart that she wanted to share with everyone, not the best vocally for her, but had alot of meaning and Paula had one stupid comment to say about that song which was a slap in the face to Mandisa, you could tell and Ryan followed along with the comment. I hated it...the comment that is.

Ace was trying too hard last night. I mean, I thought he was going to start stripping or something. Touching his hair, pulling at his shirt. WTH? LOL! Overkill in my opinion and his voice was not in range to the song. Still trying to work them cameras towards the end of song...trying to hypnotize us all.

Kelly sang her song good. Who cares if it is outdated, she sang it well.

Lisa just isn't one of the better singers in my opinion. Her range was off too.

Taylor did not pick a good song for himself, but why did Simon remark about his choice of clothing? Like I said before, Simon was taking some of Paula's med's or something. LOL!

Bucky did really good. I really like his voice and I hope he hangs around alittle longer.

Katharine is really good

Paris looked like she was trying to do some pole dancing or something. I think she was trying to hard too. Her voice didn't shine last night as usual.

Elliott was really good, but danced like a monkey. Simon was right on with him....his dancing was "hideous"> LOL!

Chris was awesome. I had all intentions on voting last night and then I forgot!!! Stupid me!! My dh did not like Chris last night, but I am getting the jealousy vibe from him. Every time Chris comes on, I get really excited. Then as soon as he is done, my sister calls me so we can talk about how wonderful he is!!! I think dh is on to my school girl crush. I wonder if a lot of husbands are feeling this way.......

I don't really care for the others, but I think it is crazy that they are trying to tell Chris to sing something else. No!!!! I want to hear what he does best! Besides, if he sang something else, the judges would say, "that is not you; you need to stick to rock." They were not making sense to me last night!

On another note, my sister has downloaded every song that Chris has done on AI...including the first cut it the deepest, which was my favorite. She is making me a cd for my bday. She could not keep it a surprise!

Do I sound a little obsessed??? Okay, I will shut-up now!

I was actually really disappointed with everyone last night.

I usually love Chris, but it just didn't do it for me. Seemed like he was just screaming the whole time.

Kathrine at least showed off her vocals, though there was really no performance.

Elliot was the only one that I thought tried to do something interesting.

I think Lisa should go home.
 
I missed some but here's what I thought of those I saw:

Chris was awesome. I love HARD rocking, and that's what he excels at. We need a hard rockin idol. I'm tired of all the country, pop, kick your dog crap. If Chris starts singing Celine, I'm leaving.

Lisa = bye bye

Taylor has got his groove thing going on. He is really good and very unique. His style is quite memorable.

Elliot is a good singer but eh to look at (w/ dancing, blah blah blah)

Bucky - please go home. I'm tired of country singers. He has a good voice but nothing memorable...oh, and please take the Pickler w/ you.

Paris is very fresh and has a good voice but is young in a lot of ways. I don't think she is ready to be idol.

Mandisa has a really good voice but her style doesn't do it for me.

Ace = bye bye. You can stop molesting the camera and trying to win the awwwww vote.

Katherine seems too stuck up to me. Eh.

I felt rather "eh!" about all of them last night.

Lisa is definitely not living up to her initial promise. I think she and Bucky and either Ace (trying to get by on his sex appeal--which actually isn't very sexy) or Kellie should be in the bottom 3 this week. (o.k., Kellie's there because I can't STAND that kind of country music!).

I had mixed feelings about Chris. He has a fantastic voice, even on a song that is so "hard" and loud. But it is getting a bit tiresome. Though he must be frustrated with the mixed messages he's getting. Last week, Simon told him he admired him for being the only American Idol contestant ever to not sell out and to stick by his guns...then this week he says Chris should show different styles. What's a contestant to do?
 
Lisa was really bad last night. I actually think she has a good voice - but I think it just goes to show how great of a voice Kelly Clarkson really has and that it is a hard song to sing.

Mandisa - I thought it was her worst vocally - I also hated the comment the Paula made. Great voice and great personality

Chris - was good, I like him. But I do agree a little with simon - that he might have narrowed his audience with that song.

Taylor - was good but nothing special...for him.

Buckey - I thought it was one of his better performances. Not a big fan though.

Ace - I actually liked it alot - besides all of those weird looks in the camera!!! I think he is getting better. - not sure how long he will last though.

Katherine - she was good, but nothing exciting. I like her a lot.

Paris - I thought she was good. No we don't want to see our youth dancing like that - but they do. They see Beyonce or whoever do it on MTV - their going to do it! I did it when I was a teenager - of course we were doing the Thriller dance or Janet Jackson. Whether she wins or not - I think she will have a career.

Elliot - I love his voice and I thought he did a great job! Yes his dancing does need work.

Kelly Pickler - didn't like her song. I am not sure if I like her - is she faking her dumbness?

My favorite was Elliot, Ace, Chris (last night)

I think Lisa will be going home tonight.
 
Absolutely, Lisa will more than likely be going home. As soon as dh and I heard what song she chose we both knew right then and there that she is going home.
I still really like Chris, I want him to win. I wouldn't buy anybody elses album, escpet maybe Katherines.

I think Bucky, Ace and Lisa should be in the bottom, although I really didn't care for any of them last night. I really think Bucky will go, Lisa still has more vocal talent, although she isn't going to be there much longer, either.
 
Does anyone notice Bucky's stupid microphone toss move? DH and I laugh out loud and repeat on our tivo every time he does it. Such a dumb little move. Also, did you see his weird dance last night - one leg wasn't moving while the other one scooted him across the floor. It was just silly.

Actually I liked Bucky's moves. I thought he did well with singing and doing "his thing". It was some of the others that had the bad moves, in my opinion. Ah, no one seems to like Bucky much. I really think he is pretty good.

Anyone surprised by last nights bottom three? I was with Kathryn there. What gives? She was great! I guess most of knew Lisa was going to be going home. I think Ace or Bucky will be next. Not that I want them to leave, but one of them will be next to go. jmho

Kinda surprised, but I think katherine is full of herself. Plus, her song wasn't the greatest, either. Did you see Bucky's expression though? He seemed really shocked it wasn't him in the bottom. I'm not surprised Lisa left. She was a real sport about though. Such a sweet girl. I think eventually Ace, Bucky and the lot of them will be gone.

I was surprised and really thought Bucky would not only be in the bottom 3 but that he would be out. I thought Lisa would be going soon but IMO she has more personality and is more entertaining than Bucky. Next week is country so that should be interesting for some of them. Maybe Ace will be gone next week.
 
All I know is that I was so shocked that ACE did not get voted off...He is such a dork working the camera like that...EWWWWWWWWWW creepy!

I think ACE has all the makings for a a lead role in a vampire movie..LOL!! He would have been a perfect Vamp in the LOST BOYS!!!

Okay, everyone seems to be agreeing on the ones that will be gone before too much longer, who does everyone think will be in the final 2????
 
I was all excited when Chris came out, but I just thought he wasn't as good as he usally is. Maybe it was the song who knows. I hope he does better next week. He is my #1 fan.
 
I think all three judges must have taken crabby pills Tuesday night. I agree the songs weren't the best of the season, and there were some less than stellar performances from some people (which surprised me), but some of those comments were too harsh. And Randy was in a bad mood!!

I'm very sad Lisa is gone. I really liked her singing and she seemed like a level-headed person, as did her parents. No big mouths and bad attitudes. Just nice people.

There are times I wonder if the voting is rigged. I hate to look for conspiracies, but there are times I really do wonder.
