Good Morning!

Up early to get my workout done. Im gonna do circuits with the TM and either HST or BSC? One of 'um. Im looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow morning though! So lazy right now!

Lora** I forgot to tell you, Ive done that as well, told people stuff before I figured out who they really were. Ive learned though. We have a new girl at work and I almost made a comment one time about another co-worker and then I thought " I better not" and I didn't and I was soooo glad I didn't after b/c she isn't as sensible as she seemed. Hopefully you will get the new job and you can say "GOOD BYE" to that crowd!

Gotta get this workout started! BBL!

Morning Ladies -

This morning I did Katina Hunter's Interval Party 2. Yes, my first day of non-WSFL cardio. I think my body was getting too used to it. I struggled with 52" of cardio....especially doing the same DVD since I seem to have severe cardio ADD after WSFL. LOL. Workout was 53" and I burned 497 calories.

This was a pretty fun DVD. Mix of hi/lo with kickbox. The combos were challenging enough (coreographically) to keep you from being bored. I took the intensity up a bit here and there by adding jumps and plyo. Haven't done this much impact off the Rebounder for a while. I get afraid I'll get another stress fracture from all of this cardio....so I tend to use my Rebounder a lot to avoid that issue. I don't know what I'd do without it.

The interview yesterday was a total JOKE. Minimum wage to run the place and you have to work amongst smokers. That's only part of it! Very unprofessional place........it was a waste of time. I guess my only option is to pray about my current situation and hope it gets better and things "blow over".

Have great workouts everyone. Now I just need to figure out what workouts I want to do until my new Dove's get here. I might play around with NROL and some Valerie Waters Action Hero circuits, as well as some of my virgin DVDs and maybe even do a Functional Fitness week.
 
Lora** Thats to bad the job offer wasn't better. As if you would leave you current job and go to that? They should have atleast offered you more money then you are making now! And smokers? Who smokes now a days anyway? LOL Gross, that would be enough for me to say "no thanks!" Good job with the workout today. Sounds like you enjoyed it.

I managed to squeeze in 30 mins on the TM and 4 seg of HSC. It was a good workout and my HR was pretty high. I need new batteries for my HRM, would have been nice to know how much I burned.

Good Morning Girls.

Well, believe it or not, I *DID* rest yesterday,Jacque!:p :7

That being said, I am raring to go today! }( I am still sore from Tuesday's KB work out so I am opting for cardio today and kb tmrw. It works out better this way since I have to go back to the gym for a meeting this afternoon anyway AND since I am running in a race on saturday, I'd rather not do my cardio tmrw. It's all good. :)

Jen: So you weren't a fan of AB work out A or just tired of it by now? Yeah, keep me posted on NROL. I was looking around online for a bargain on it but couldn't find it. I *DID* however find a bargain on 2 other books. One is a book I was eyeing at B&N a few weeks ago and the 2nd book is by the same author. They are used books so they were cheap. Love a good deal!:7

Lori: LOL about women being catty. I totally agree. I tend to get along better with men in general. I have my female friends (including my Catheite buddies) but I seem to mesh better with the boys. :7

Jacque: An 8 hour webinar!? Holy cow! Was this for work or something!?

Lora: Sorry the interview was a bomb. You'll find something. Keep looking. Glad you enjoyed your new work out. Hope the Dove work outs come soon.

Wendy** Glad you enjoyed your rest day yesterday! Now get back to it! LOL Hope you have a good workout today. I am with ya on getting along with men better. There are certain women that I can take to right away and I feel comfortable around. But I have some "friends" that I don't even feel comfortable around. I know how they check out all the other women in town, so why not me? I have one in particular, even though our DH's have a business together, I rarely talk to her anymore. I can't wait for my SIL to move home! Its gonna be so nice to have a real friend around. There is also a girl here at work who kinda stabbed me in the back. Saying that I covered her Mat leave and that my job shouldn't be here when I needed to return, b/c if I returned, she would have had to leave. Sometimes she is nice to me, sometimes not. I don't know whats wrong with her. Im not sure if she is mad at me b/c I beleived what the other girls at work told me or if she just doesn't like me. Either way, I didn't do anything wrong and I don't care! LOL When I pass her driving, she doesn't even wave! LOL Loser!!!!

Lora** Geez...if all of us only looked like that:eek: ! Ill never look like that! I might if I had 100 G's to spend on trainers though;)

Good Morning, all!

Man, I am oh so tired today! I had the hardest time getting moving this morning, (even after three, count 'em, THREE cups of coffee) and almost didn't bother working out. I opted for doing HIIT only though, no steady state afterward. I'm glad I didn't, because I just got winded walking DOWN a flight of stairs! So Happy It's Thursday :7 One more day until I get to sleep in a little.

Lora, sorry the interview was horrible! Keep at it. You'll find something perfect eventually.

Lori, great workout! My HRM needs batteries, too. It's a Polar. Do you know if I can just pick those up somewhere and change them myself? Like at CVS or something? Because I've heard about others sending them somewhere for service when the batteries die, and I don't want to have to do that. Not sure how that works.

Wendy, I actually enjoyed AB workout A very much (or as much as one can enjoy torture :p). In fact, I really enjoyed both workouts, as well as the cardio sessions. Really, no complaints. I am just sooooo ready for a change, mostly because all the work has finally caught up with me and I'm seriously fatigued. I increased my weights every week in Stage 1, and I think I'm at a point where I really can't go any higher and still get the 20 reps out. Given that, this week is kicking my butt. That's good, right? Glad you found some good deals!

I just did 20 minutes of Daily Dose of Dharma - STress Relief yoga. Felt good. It's my late day at work today....so I'm sittin' here drinkin a protein smoothie and burning some new CDs for my next book workout rotation!

Hey there ladies !

Just reporting my workout for today - 3 mi steady state run @ 9 min/mile. That's a good pace for me. Then walked another mile between 13 & 15/min mile. (Took in another "24" DVD while on the TM - makes it go faster:7 ).

No time to read personals yet - will BBL when I need a break from work.}(

Well, lots of fun going on here today ! Except for Lora's bummer of an interview !

Lora - ITA with the others, just keep looking and eventually something will present itself that will work better for you. Funny to see you post something besides WSFL :+ . Will be interesting to note any body changes once you have changed it up a bit. It helped me to take a couple weeks off NROLW last month. Wowser on the pic of the swimmer ! Even with all the time in the world and people at my beck and call I'd never have abs like that. She definitely has very low BF !

Lori - good workout for you today. FYI (Jen too) the Polar's instructions say not to change the battery, but I changed all of mine myself. They are just standard batteries you can pick up at the local drug store or dept. store in the watch section. Does take two different ones - the watch part and the monitor part are different sizes. Have a nice sleep in tomorrow ! ;)

Wendy - good job woman ! A rest day you did take ! <<< getting back up onto my chair ! >>> Hope your workout was a good one. I still have UB DOMS from 4DS from Monday and sore leggies from Low Max Tues. What't up with that? Got a run this Saturday too ! Let's coach each other on through the "vibe zone".:p The webinar is to gain a certification for work, and hopefully either get my boss realizing I don't like being stagnant (his hands are pretty tied though) or possibly a different job. I have been in the same position for 10 yrs and though I pretty much created our HR and PR dept, I am tired of not being able to make more of a difference or feel productive. Just pretty much a paper pusher with the occasional HR issue popping up. Plus, I want more $$$$$$ ! }(

Jen - Hope you start getting more energy soon. I have been similar and though I make it through my workouts, am wondering if I have a little virus or something. Not quite so tired, just feeling weak and queasy the past couple days. Hope it passes soon for both of us !

Hey Girlies!:D

I'm back from my stupid work meeting and my work out. I ended up doing the ITread 6/60 mins outdoor on the TM. It was okay but the first half is very slow moving. I was only planning on a 30 minute run but with as slow as it started out I decided to do the entire thing to get a better work out. I'm glad I did too cause the 2nd half was MUCH more intense!}(

Jen: Yeah, AB will do that....wear you out and kick your butt. I know it kicked mine!}( Looks like you will be giving stage 2 of AB a go before I do. Let me know how you like it! I only did one work out one time so I didn't give it even close to a fair shake. I hope you continue to see results with it. I'm still clueless as to what I'll do after my month of kettlebells is up. There's too many darned choices!:p I don't have a Polar HRM but I THINK you are supposed to send it back to polar to get the batteries changed. I'm not sure if that's your only option or perhaps something having to do with the warranty but not a must if you don't care about the warranty. I've only ever heard of people sending it in though.

Jacque: I was pretty amazed that I stuck with the rest day myself! LOL You can get back in your chair now. ;) I quickly wore myself out today though with my run. Once that work out kicked in, I was really feelin' it! I also upped the intensity by adding a 2% hill to my sprints and such. Yeah, I'm nuts!:7 Well I hope this certification you are getting for work helps you. I know what it's like to feel "dead-ended" in a job so to speak. I've been there many many times. *sigh* Good luck to you!:)

Hello ladies!!

Jacque, thanks for the HRM info. I think I'll try to replace them this weekend. As Wendy said, maybe it'll affect the warranty by not sending it to them for a replacement, but I don't really care about that. I'm not one to ever follow through on things like that. :p If something goes wrong with something, I'd rather chuck it and get a new one. I know it's not very practical, but time is money and not something I have much of these days. I find myself paying for convenience. When I was home with the kids I was a stickler about things like warranties and frugality...not anymore. Oh well...such is life. I hope you get some recognition and compensation for your hard work. If not at that job, then at a new one. Stagnancy is not a good thing in my book.

Wendy, glad to hear you stuck to your rest day! Your body deserves it, girl, 'cuz you def work it hard! I'm sure you'll find something that interests you after your kettlebell month is up. Maybe STS will be out by then! Did you pre-order that? I'm feeling the need for something new, but I'm liking what AB is doing for me, so I was considering a new cardio machine or something for a change of pace. I don't know, though. That's a pricey purchase. (Unless I suggest to BF that it'd be a nice early b-day gift or something }( He spoils me somethin' fierce.) I just don't know what I'd like. I was looking at stationary bikes today but couldn't really decide if that's for me or not. I'll keep looking. Did you ever say how you like CC8? Maybe that's what I should consider...

KILLER! It's getting great reviews around here though. Perhaps I'll give it a go next week.}(
