Good Morning:)

No workout yesterday. Kept oursleve busy with other things. I planted flowers, thought about working out and then DH wanted me to help stain the fence. Boy, that sure is alot of work:eek: I wouldn't want to have to do the whole fence!

Soooo...Im hoping to get a 9 miler in when I get up from my nap. I should probably be heading out around 11:30 or so. Im hoping it won't be to warm. As long as there is a slight breeze I should be o.k.

Lora** I know I eat alot of stuff I shouldn't eat sometimes to ...but hey, its holidays! As long as every day isn't a holiday then thats o.k!

Jacque** I didn't really get to sit back and watch anything at the party, I barely even got to talk to my friends! DS is so on the go and I kept chasing him around poking pizza in his mouth
:) Then he cried b/c he wanted the bubble maker...even though it was blowing bubbles in his eyes! Ouch!

Jen** There is nothing better then not drinking and getting your workout in the next day!:) Actually, I have done the opposite as well, Ive drank and worked out. Not the most energy but still got my workout done:)

I will BBL when I am sipping my coffee!

Morning Ladies -

This morning I overslept again..........whoa....till 5:30 am. Don't know what that's all about. I should feel like Super Woman, but instead I feel lethargic!

I did WSFL cardio - 7 intervals of 60/120 which I did closer to 60/60. Then I put my 10# weight vest on for part of the 20 min segment. I used the Ellipitical/TM/Bike and Heavy Bag. Workout was 57" and I burned 505 calories.

I also did Spinervals Yoga for Runners 22". Wish I would have had time for more yoga....but ran out of time. We're going to an early movie, Hancock.

The movie yesterday at the Dollar Theatre was Harold & Kumar's Escape from Guatanamo Bay - stupid..humor....but it was only a buck.
 
Geez Lora, what you must think of me for sleeping in until TEN yesterday!! What a hedonist I am! ;) Even this morning I stayed in bed until almost seven. Great workout! Hope you enjoy today's movie.

Lori, yes, it's the best, and I think I need to do it more often. ;) Sounds like you got a pretty good workout just chasing DS around. I remember those days. Hope you enjoy your run today.

No workout for me today, 'cuz even God rested on Sunday. :+ Instead, I'm going to organize closets, which is likely to be an all day project. I have to say, I'm lovin' Alwyn's Afterburn. I've only completed three weeks so far, and already I'm getting compliments. And dare I say, shhhhh, don't tell anyone, but I think I'm actually getting rid of my saddlebags! The ones that have haunted me FOREVER! Never thought I'd see it happen.

Morning all !

Just got back from my run - the simulated 10K that is next weekend. Shaved a couple minutes off of last week's run. This week I ran the entire way except about 3 iPod adjustments.x( My right bum cheek was a bit sore on the last few hills (just small inclines) but felt fine again on the streets on the way back to my house. Finished in 1:03:45 this week.

Everytime I climb the hill about 1/3 of the way through I think of Coach Sean's challenges.}( It goes from a small incline to about a 6% incline over about 1/4 of a mile. Killer, but my HR didn't jump as high this week.

Lori - wishing you cool enough weather for your run. Supposed to be 94 here today but only 72 right now. Nice for my run, but was getting warm on the way back. I took the shady path.:p I am laughing 'cuz my grandson just started crawling, he'll be 1 yr old in 3 weeks. DS keeps putting up road block in the apt and GS just sits and whines.:-( Those few years between walking and being trust worthy enough to let them go on their own around the house are very busy ones !

Lora - sounds like you're catching up on some greatly needed sleep. I hope your energy comes back to you soon. Enjoy your movie - heard mixed reviews - please let us know what you think.

Jen - Rest days and sleeping in are good for mending the body ya know.;-) Especially when you are doing an Alwyn program ! So Afterburn is burnin' the old saddles, huh? Hmmmmmm. . . Are you following the nutrition portion of it also?

Hey there Girleez!:)

Had a fun weekend away and now it's back to reality. We got home around 1:30 this afternoon. I immediately put DS up for his nap and promptly took one myself!:p

I opted out of a rest day today since y'day's run was much shorter then intended. It was only 1.5 miles. I was hoping for 3+. That being said, after my nap (and 1 1/2 cups of coffee :p ), I did Iron Core Way volume 1. I skipped the rest periods so that really increased the intensity of the work out. I did the warm up with a 15 pound bell and the actual work out with a 20 pound bell. I may have some kettlebell legs in the morning for my run!}(

Not sure if I'll get to personals today but if not, I'll be back at it come the morning!
