Morning Ladies-

This morning I did WSFL cardio. I did 7 intervals of 60/90 on the Rebounder and then for the 20 minute segment, I did Katina Hunter's Step Party 2. A little too hard to follow the first time thru. Didn't have a real "great" workout. I had a hard time and feel fatigued. Workout was 55" and I burned 460 calories.

good Morning Lora. It can be frustrating when a workout doesn't go well or feel good. I am sorry. How much time do you have left on the WSFL?

Yesterday was NROL4W 4A the weights are getting challenging. I was dripping with sweat by the end. In fact I did no tack on any cardio like I normally do. Well I normally do the cardio first. So it will be a short cardio this morning and then golf.

Wendy- I hope we still see you checking in here even though you are not officialy doing a rotation. Although 3 HIIT is a plan IMO.

Lora: Sorry you weren't feeling up to par this morning. It happens to all of us from time to time. Shake it off and move on. :)

Judy: I still plan to check in here for sure. I'm moving on to a kettlebell rotation that will look something like this:

F/B KB
HIIT + SS cardio
U/B only (KB or standard weight lifting)
HIIT + SS cardio
F/B KB
HIIT + SS cardio
Rest

That being said, I still "belong" here so I definately plan on stickin' around!;)

Jen: Very kewl that you are a Taurus fan. :) I will definately consider picking back up with AB when you are ready to begin Stage 2. Give me a few days "warning" and I'll let ya know if I'll be joining you. So you are holding out on the bells for a while ey? I tried to do that and it worked for a while but then....:p LOL

Jacque: I mentioned in another check in, but not here, the main reason I think that I need a change from Alwyn is simply because I am feeling lazy and don't want to work out from a book right now. It's too much pressure on my brain these days! LOL :p I love Alwyn's work outs so it's definately not that. I will definately get back to him once my brain gets back from vacation. ;) Hope you can squeeze your run in. I think you should do the 10k. Take it slow if you need to. You have to start some where!:)

How is everyone? Don't be fooled by the smily face...Im far from happy!x( Well..more like depressed! I don't know what is up with our weather. We have had nothing but rain and fog since June came. Everyday I get up,look out with window with hopes of sun and there it is....more wet pavement,more clouds and more dreary blackness. Do you know that it was dark last night at 7:30 b/c it was soooo f'in miserable out? Even on the days when the sun as shone, its rained at some point in the day.
ANYWAY, tomorrow is suppose to be nice. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Im hoping to get a run in early tomorrow morning with DS. Im sure he would like to get out of the house as well.

I did a 4 mile run today,4 seg of BC and PUB abs. Good workout. I doubt I will have energy enough tonight to do my P90X workout so that may have to wait until tomorrow. I can't wait to sleep in tomorrow morning! Sleeping in is only 8 ish though but if DS sleeps longer , I can stay in bed cause DD doesn't have school:)

Judy** Nice workout yesterday and have fun golfing!

Lora** I never buy workouts from different instructors, simply b/c I hate learning something new.Feels like a complete waste of workout time when I have to learn new steps. I always know that when Cathe puts out a new workout, there will be something there that I know. With that being said, I haven't done to much of LIS or HIS b/c I don't want to learn all that cherography! LOL

Alright, I have to make myself a shake and do some work, I suppose!

Lori: Sorry about the dreary weather. I know how that can be. I get depressed when there is too much doom and gloom weather around here as well. For us it's just been too much humidity. Great sunshine but can't enjoy it with all of the yuckiness in the air! I'd like to take DS to the park this morning after I hit the gym so I am hoping the humidity is light today.
 
Man, I hate it when I can't get here until lunch! Why does this work stuff always have to get in the way of all my fun? :p ;)

Lora, you still managed a great colorie burn, even if you didn't feel it was your best performance. So how goes the battle?

Judy, IIRC, stage 4 is a repeat of Stage 2, right? So did you start off with the same weight that you ended Stage 2 with? That'll definitely make it a toughie.

Wendy, your rotation looks good. I'll def give you the heads-up when I'm heading into Stage 2. I just began week three of Stage 1 this morning.

Lori, I know exactly how you feel today and I feel for you. I get like that every winter. I'm going to be wishing warmer, sunnier weather your way.

So I managed to get my cardio done last night after work, which was some HIIT followed by a cool down, then 20 minutes of steady state. This morning I got up early and got in my AB weights. My legs are tired this afternoon. Those squats and step ups kill me. Kinda thankful for my desk job right now. ;) (Remind me of that next time I'm complaining about it.)

Jen: Grass is always greener on the other side, isn't it? LOL I know I always said I wanted a job where I didn't sit at a desk all day but if I actually had one I am sure I'd complain about that too!:p

Back from the gym. I got on the TM and did a 10 minute w/u + CC volume 8 challenge 3 + 5 min cool down + 20 minutes SS run + 3 minute cool down. O.M.G.! That was my first experience with volume 8 AT ALL! All I kept wondering was how I was going to make it through the ENTIRE work out if JUST challenge 3 whooped my arse the way that it did! LOL Great work out. It took about 50 minutes and I went over 4 miles by the time it was all said and done. :)

After a quick shower I took DS to park for about a half hour. It's hot but not humid so it was pretty nice out. There was a little breeze to keep ya goin' as well.

Now we are home again and I am making him lunch and then it's nap time for both of us. ;)

Hi all,

Started posted a bit ago but doggone work got in the way !x(

Got back into the groove this AM and hit my Stage 2A4 workout. Back is a bit sore so only got in one plank;( . Rest of the workout was good - I think holding the 20# DBs for the step up and reverse lunge was too much weight on my lower back as I could feel it compressing. Need to ice, ice, ice the hit the spa I guess.

Lora - sorry about the workout being hard to follow, next time will be better. I always figure if I am fatigued at least I worked hard, even if it doesn't seem like it.

Judy - Stage 4 sounds like a rough one - hope your golf goes well today and the "peepers" aren't around to bug you.:7

Wendy - I see what you mean about "book workouts". I like just watching the DVD or listening to Sean }( so much better than checking a workout page. I have been watching my 24 DVD's while working out so it kinda makes it better - each hour is about one workout session.
So on my last run there is a steep hill that I hit about 15 min into my run since I started from home. Do you think that when I do the race, since the hill will be about a few minutes from the starting line that it will be easier? I am hoping. Am motivated to try one more time and will probably do it anyway since my DS's boss is the head of the running club putting on the fundraising event. Thanks for the support ! Nice workout - I haven't made it to challenge 3 yet but have done 1 & 2 on CC8 - that was killer enough ! Have a nice nap - I'm jealous !

Lori - <<<< sunshine to Lori >>> I know just what you mean - being a CA born and raised girl (beach bum actually) I simply cannot stand it when it is ugly out for too long at one time. Really puts me into a depression, literally. Sure hope you get a little sun tomorrow !

Jen - LOL ! I feel the same about posting "late" when everyone already seems to be done for the day ! ;( Oh well, we do what we can.
My NROLW workouts are 3 leg exercises also and I am exhausted when I'm done - and that is with HIIT only every other workout ! Makes it a bummer working upstairs.:p
