Hi everyone,

It has been so long since I have posted, probably no one out there remembers me. With moving to a new state, finding out I was pregnant, and getting a new job, I kind of lost all motivation to log on to the internet. I'm almost done with the pregnancy (about 5 weeks to go!!) and I can't wait. Did any of you just get so tired of being pregnant? I will be so excited to work out like normal again instead of huffing and puffing through. I have managed to keep up with around four times per week, and I've tried to walk a lot which has been fairly easy since we live in a mild climate.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello to everyone. Also, if anyone wants to give me a little encouragement for after the baby is born. I'm starting to get a little anxious about getting back in shape and being able to handle a new baby. Thanks :)

YES!!

I REMEMBER you!! Congrats on your pregnancy and new job. So glad to hear from you again. I just wanted to say WELCOME BACK and to say how great it is that you were able to manage working out 4x/week during your pregnancy. That is wonderful. I was waaaay too sick 22 and 28 years ago to workout. My daughter (who is pregnant with our 1st. grandbaby :-jumpy) is also too sick to workout so count your blessings!! Keep us posted on the great event and you will do just fine after you settle in with the new baby. Cathe's tapes are a real motivator, so have fun. Your-Friend-In-Fitness, DebbieH :)

Hi!
I just had my second child 5 weeks ago. I have just started working out again and am having to make myself take rest days cause I'm having so much fun. It's been so long since I've been able to feel normal while working out.

But, please don't start too early. You could start bleeding and just set yourself back even more. The first two weeks with a new one are the hardest, but 3 weeks, and 6 weeks are what people say are stepping stones. I noticed my baby started sleeping a little longer at 3 weeks. I'm still up twice a night, but luckily I am able to be off work until April so I can rest if I need to during the day. And of course, don't worry about housework. Although, I'll admit it's hard not too. You may be real emotional after the birth. You've accomplished this wonderful feat, and you have this beautiful, precious newborn! I was on cloud 9 for a few days, and then the baby blues hit. Call someone! Get online! Talk to someone! It will help.

And, yes, I got tired of being pregnant. It was so nice to have my face and ankles and hands go back to normal from all the swelling. Although it did take a few days. Congratulations!!!

Andrea
