Yippee! Shelley is taking a rest day and I've followed my eating plan for 2 days. Todays plan:

B - basic 4 cereal w/blueberries, raspberries, soy milk, half banana
L - turkey on whole wheat, carrots, tomato, apple
D - DH is taking his mother (and me) out to dinner at an Italian restaurant - I will (yes, I will) make a smart choice
S - half banana

Today is a cardio day for me, but I'm not sure which workout. Maybe a nonCathe for some variety.

Just got up to refill coffee mug. No time to list menu but all is good. Yesterday was good also!! YAY, on track once again. I wish I had a nickel for every time I say that!:p

The good days are adding up!

Yesterday I stuck to my plan including the 3 hersey's kisses!

Today-
B- hot oat bran cereal and soy milk
S- blueberries and hardboiled egg
L-(while running errands) sandwich- veggie bologna/spincah leaves on ww w/ mustard. 2 clementines. seltzer
S- Tea, probably a BFL bar or shake or airpopped popcorn and seltzer
D- Salad w/ vinagrette & White Lightning Chicken Chili-
from Fresh start cook Book by Julie Rosso
S- 3 Hersheys kisses :+ & decaff or Tea.


PS I ordered the BFL book and am anxious to read it.

Morning all. The resounding thump you heard yesterday was me falling off the clean eating wagon. I figured while I was down there, lying on the ground, I might as well take a rest day, so I did. I think I was asleep before Sophie last night!

Today:

B - steel cut oats, banana, soy milk, dash cinnamon
S - apple, 1 piece Stonemill toast with pb
L - the Quiznos that got canceled yesterday
S - cottage cheese and fresh pear, dash cinnamon
D - white bean burrito, greens
 
Judy, the BFL book has some great recipes in it.

I bought a bag of buttered popcorn for the kids yesterday and ended up eating more than I should. Bad Leslie! But, I made up for it by cutting back on the carbs for dinner and doing a kickboxing workout before bed. Today's plan:

B-1 cup Blueberry Morning cereal and an egg.
L-1 cup whole wheat pasta w/ broccoli and shrimp in an orange wine sauce.
S-7 Triskets w/ 2 TBS of low fat cucumber herb spread
D-2 small meatballs, 1 cup whole wheat pasta and low fat spagetti sauce, lg salad.

My lunch was great! I got the recipe from Shape magazine. I'll post it if anyone's interested.

I've lost an inch around my waist just doing this plan for a week! Yipee!
