All Things in Moderation - Jan 10

Good morning!

Yesterday was a good day. I weighed and measured this morning to give me a day between the buckeye mishap on Sunday.

I gained 1 1/2 pounds. I was a little astounded since I had an incredible calorie burn last week. But my measurements stayed the say and I even lost a 1/4 inch in each thigh. I guess the tape measure is the most important though but I have a love/hate relationship with that darn scale!

Today will be a good day.

Br - oatmeal with 1 T nat PB and SF strawberry/fig preserves, 1/2 cup Weight Watchers cinn crunch cereal, 1/4 cup skim milk, coffee w/creamer

Sn - pumpkin protein smoothie

Ln - Italian style wedding soup, 1 pc WW toast with 2 T roasted red pepper hummus, orange

Sn - 1/2 cup raisin brain cereal, 1/4 cup milk

Dn - reruns - smoked chicken with roasted red pepper sauce, collards, large salad with low cal. raspberry ving.

Hope you day is clean.

I don't know if mine is 100% clean, is canned soup clean? I know the sodium is not a good thing.
 
Good morning, Jane, and others to follow. Good job yesterday. I know what you mean about that darn scale. I see more muscle tone every week, but if the scale doesn't budge, or (gasp) goes up, I feel like a failure. Yesterday was good for me too. I managed to stay on plan. I don't see any reason why today shouldn't be moderately clean, too.
B - steel cut oats, cinnamon,brown sugar,soy milk, 1/2 banana
L - turkey sandwich on whole wheat, carrots,tomatos,yogurt
D - veggie omlette,whole wheat toast
S - apple, other half of banana
I got up early and did the 1st 5 segments of IMAX3. This afternoon, the plan is for GS chest and tri.
I'm not sure what the answer is about canned soup. Since this is "moderation" thread, I thinks it fits just fine.
 
Canned soup can work in a moderate format IMHO. I use it on occasion myself.

Yesterday I had to add in a bowl of lo fat no sugar added mexican sundae ice cream at night. There was no good reason for this ohter that I am human. It would have been better if I ate a smaller portion.
Today:
B- english muffin light, w/ 2 oz. melted low fat mozzerella- yummy! and V8 juice
S- apple and 2 TB soy nut butter
L- homemade lentil soup, WW toast or pita (I need to put soup in crock pot shortly)
S- perhaps a BFL bar or shake I found them at the store yesterday and bought them.
D- baked Tilapia and zucchini baked with tomatoes, basil and a bit of parmesean cheese, and a large salad w/ vinagrette.
S- decaf coffee or tea and 2 hersheys kisses.

Morning all.

Yesterday was just okay. Someone opened a big bag of chocolate covered almonds at work, and I had a few. And also a few toffees. Ugh. The rest of the day was clean though.

Today:

B - mixed cereal with banana and soy milk, 1 small piece Stonemill toast with pb and organic apricots
S - steel cut oats with cinnamon, raisins and soy milk
L - *gulp* I'm going to Quiznos with a friend... I'll try to only eat half my sandwich and I'm going to have a V8 with it (I always get their veggie sandwich)
S - lf yogurt, two clementines
D - Steamed rice, mixed veggies and noodles

Tonight is a 4 mile run.
 
Good afternoon everyone!

I doubled up on breakfast today knowing I wouldn't have time for a mid-morning snack.

B-1 cup of steel cut oats, 1 egg and 2 egg whites
L-1/2 turkey sandwich on wheat bread, bowl of black bean soup
S-1 or 2 oz of low fat cheese and 8 low fat Triscuits
D-3 oz of London Broil, 1/2 baked potato, salad w/ lt. dressing

I plan on doing P90X Shoulders and Arms this afternoon followed by a kickboxing workout tonight. If I stick to the late cardio I'll have a snack before bed, probably a piece of fruit.
