Hello challengers!

Nothing much to report here! I've not done a great deal as I am trying not to aggravate my head! I'll get to now and do some leg toning but that will do me.

Becca - Don't ask me how. but I thought you were road tripping this weekend past. sorry. Now I'll just have to wait for your report in August.

Amelia - SS is one I don't have. I've got S&H, is SS anything like that one?

Andrea - I'm sticking with you, lets try to loose something in the weight dept this week. I too have just eased off the workouts, so its time to get back in the saddle.

Hey to everybody that follows!

Today is a dogwalk and a thirty minute run interval,i need to relieve some stress,this damn dog has kept me up on and off all night with his hollering:mad: hes the cutest little thing but wow is he clingy,he has to be in somebody lap when he naps during the day! He loves the kids though,wants to be with them all the time!

HI to Jean,Becca,Roxie, and AndreaH!

Yesterday I went to Block Island with my kids and husband. We took our bikes on the ferry so we could pedal around the island. A lot of fun and a lot of work. My husband was eyeing the mopeds to rent. LOL! We didn't get home until 12:30 AM. So no work out today. My hip is telling me to rest. The part of the island we decided to viisit was extremely hilly.I gave those quads a great workout.! The kids had a blast in the ocean.

Hi there!

Well, the exercise portion of my challenge is off to a truly poor start. I skipped again today :mad: I had the alarm set, woke up to it, turned it off and never made it out of bed - no conscious thoughts about anything at that time either. UGH. Food isn't too bad, though - still too much, but LESS too much and healthier too much so I am making progress. The mid-week scale peek looks pretty promising.

Got to work this morning and was REALLY dragging. Throat sore & everything. Decided to get checked for strep b/c DD is currently being treated. Rapid test came back negative, but we're waiting on the culture. I decided to go ahead and stay home the rest of the day - I think I need the down time. I did bring work home, but doubt I'll look at any of it - there's nothing needing my immediate attention.

OK, I'd better get going - there are Cooking Light and Shape magazines calling my name :D Have a great day!
 
Hi all!!

Today's WO was BodyMax. I made it through the step and power circuits sections, but once I got to the UB weight work, I had to throw in the towel. My kiddos were way too demanding. I had to pause to break up fights, take away computer time and wipe fannies. :mad: Not what I planned when I started my WO.

AndreaH, so glad to hear that you don't have strep. I hope you start to feel better soon.

Elaine, your bike ride sounds like a ton of fun! Enjoy your rest day!

Amelia, puppies are like having babies, aren't they? I hope you enjoyed your cardio stress relief!

Andrea (idream), No worries, Jean (dreamyjeanie) went to the July one. I'm not sure if she has reported in yet, but I am dying to hear how it was for her. I am really looking forward to it. I even started packing and I never pack early! I am a day of, night before kind of girl. About SS and S&H: they are very different WO's. I would say SS is more of an endurance wo and S&H is all strength. There are great premixes on SS/PP though. You can get some really toasty WO's!

Hi everyone. No I haven't really reported much about the road trip. I've been playing catchup and haven't had much time to post or exercise. Tonight I managed to get to to spin class which was great. Then I rebelled on the way home and stopped for a Sonic blast. Only ate 1/2, but I should have been stronger and past the whole thing up. I will try to do better tomorrow.

Becca as for the road trip, double knot your laces and prepare for a blast. It is so much fun. This year was the best ever. The coordinators and Cathe and her staff and really out ddi themselves. I don't want to go into too many details because it will be so much better for you to experience it first hand. Once the August one is over, I will be happy to share more and answer any questions any one has. Are you going to the early bird step class on Friday morning before the the road trip begins? There were alot of people there for July. I'm still playing catch up with my sleep so I'm signing off for now.
