Advice

Hi everyone:

I posted a month and half ago, but fell off the wagon due to a really hard first trimester.

I am entering my second trimester on Monday and would like to begin to work out again as I have not worked out for about three months. I have a few of Cathe's videos...her gym style ones plus a few of her beginner/intermediate videos.

Any advice on what I should be doing. I need all the help I can get plus the motivation to get going.

Thanks.

Janet

hi janet

you made it thru the worst for sure. it just gets better! hopefully you are starting to feela bit more energetic and less nauseous.

i would recommend starting with the easiest workouts you have or even just walking. you may find this is all that iss comfortable. you may find however, that after a few workouts you are up to a little more in which case you coukld try a bit more intensity. let your body be your guide, and of course check with your dr that there are no other outsatnding concerns or issues. i know i found i felt so much better after even just a walk. also, try to set small goals such as 3 times a week or whatever sounds good with your schedule. you will feel good meeting your goals without starting off too hard.

come join us on the moms-to-be check in! again, congratulations.

Just wanted to say welcome back too! I have been walking/stationary biking and weight training 4-6 times a week. I do the S&H and pyramid workouts most of the time! Do what feels good to you!!!
