Can anyone give me advice on how much a weighted vest costs? What size I should get (I am 5'2 and weight 125) and any experience with wearing them while on the treadmill. I am trying to increase my cardio--I can no longer do high impact due to back injury so Iwould like to increase my heartrate while walking. Anyone have one they want to sell???? Any advice would be appreciated

The weighted vests I've seen are usually either 20# or 40#. I think the 20# vests are around $80. I'd suggest getting the kind that have soft weights (they are rubber or something) as they will not get rusty. They are called "soft weights", I think. You should do some websearching (under "weighted vest") to compare prices. And remember to include shipping costs if you're going to mail order, which will add quite a bit to the price. I'd suggest finding a style you like and seeing if there is a #####'s sporting goods nearby that could order one for you. You'd get the same retail price, but not have to pay for shipping.
