Advanced Abs/Core work for the PG mom

I'm bored with the crunches on the stability ball! I stopped doing pikes and all of the ab/core work on the ball after my first trimester. Surely there are ab/core excercises for the advanced exerciser that is PG. This area has got to be the most important area to maintain, why isn't there anything out there besides the really easy ab exercises!

This might be more of what you are looking for. As you can see from the link Karyne worked with Cirque de Soleil. Her prenatal workout has advanced and beginner workouts shown on it. I have a friend who has this workout and she really likes it. I don't have any other advice as I didn't workout with my first pregnancy, but planning on it with this one!

btw don't try the move shown on the link ;-) all I can say to that - whatever it is, is WOW!

The most advanced pregnancy modifications I found were on cia's 2 jammin workouts with gay gasper. In step n-strike there is a woman 5 months pregnant modifying everything including ab work. The abs were traditional, just not going down all the way to a suppine position.

LOL!!! Julie, I wish I knew a secrete!!! I ran across fittideliver.com in my researching too. I am considering purchasing some products from, http://www.maternalfitness.com/. I wish I would have seen that "Miracle Pillow" from maternalfitness.com when I was pregnant... why do I always learn about these products after I need them. :)

I hope Sheila sees this thread and can share her comments on some of these programs we've found.
