adapting freestyle for pool

Hi all!

I just got my Freestyle Fitness book and am really excited about starting to incorporate this into my workouts. Just wondering, though, would this count as a Freestyle workout: I did 30 laps using a kickboard in a 36-foot long pool, then did three sets of 20 reps each of side leg raises, front raises, and rear kicks. Is this enough or should I still tack on a set of lunges? Can you tell, I'm enjoying the beautiful day and trying to get my workout in as well!?!

TIA!
Michele

Hi Michele...sounds like a great Freestyle workout! In the book though Lunges seem to be the focus of Freestyle training. You might want to add on maybe front or back lunges. Reba (RWattier) posted a Freestyle rotation in the Rotation forum if you might want to check it out...:)...Carole

Hi Carole!

Thanks for the quick reply! I wound up doing a set of rear lunges, just to play it safe, :) but have to admit that the kickboard work had me fried!!!
