acrylic nails

I wear them right now, but I thought I remembered something saying that when PG you can't wear them, or that they wouldn't "stick". Anyone know anything about keeping acrylic nails while pregnant?

I think you aren't supposed to get them done because the chemicals aren't good for the baby.

Hi there - I am not a doctor but I am a manicurist. I wore nails with my first child and am pregnant and wearing them now. Though I didn't work as a manicurist during my pregnancy, I can tell you tha 6 women had 12 completely normal children during the time that I worked at the salon. I would check with your doctor to be on the safe side.
