Question for Cathe or anyone from the educated crowd!
While doing Slow & Heavy Chest and Back last week (will be doing this tonight also), I had some concerns while doing the plank work and such. I know that while doing planks you tighten your abdominals and breath naturally. But what do you do with your abdominals when doing Supermans for instance? Should I be pulling my navel in towards my spine when I’m lifting my arm and opposite leg or are the abs relaxed? And when do I exhale, when I’m lifting my leg and arm or when lowering or does it really matter?
