Abbreviations

Hi there,

Is there a summary or glossary of what all the abbreviations everyone is using somwhere on this forum? I am relatively new to Cathe and don't understand what all this lingo means. I think it's mainly abbreviations for the workout titles. Thanks for the help!
 
And Erin, whenever you come across a post with abbreviations you don't understand, just ask. Someone will be very happy to let you know!
 
Hey there- I've been trying to figure out what alot of these abbr. mean also- here is what I came up with-(hey, if any of these are incorrect, feel free to set me straight-:D :D deb
DOMS-"Do Over Muscle Screams"
IMO-"Intermittent Muscle Orgasms"
DH-"Dumb Husband"
BMR-"Bent Muscle Recovery"
RS-"Really Scared"
OA-"Ooooh my Aching..."
any more...? (seriously, what do these mean??)
 
DOMS- delayed onset muscle soreness
IMO- in my opinion (IMHO can be in my humble/honest opinion)
DH- d stands for whatever emotion of the hour- dear, dumb, darling, etc and H is husband; S is son, D is daughter, etc
OT is off topic
HRM is heart rate monitor
I can't tell the rest of these because I don't know the context... ;)

just ask, someone will explain!! :)
 
BMR-Is probably Basal Metabolic Rate (How many calories you'd burn in day just lying there).
RS-Is probably Rhythmic Step
OA-? No clue, what was the context?
