Fishing for ideas:
I won $1,000 toward a trip (flight/hotel) to almost anywhere I want to go from site59.com. I need to use it by the end of the year, and if you're familiar with site59, you know it's a last-minute planning tool, as in about a two-week scheduling window.
Most of my friends are out of personal days, and I would leave on a Thursday, come back on a Sunday. So, I'm thinking I'll probably do this one by myself. I'd love to take advantage of place where I can learn some business and personal ideas for wellness.
I'm in Atlanta, so I don't want to go to Charleston or Columbia if you know what I mean. I'm thinking NY or LA, possibly a Colorado destination. I suppose I'm looking for a place where I can pay for classes or training by the visit.
Still researching certification workshops b/c I might kill two birds with one stone if I could find something appealing in the yoga area, but if you know of a well-rounded and respected wellness center or not-too-intense yoga/wellness center in NY, LA, Denver area, let me know.
Here's the catch! -- I can't afford a spa. Or, at least not an all-day kind of thing. I'm thinking of taking a few classes or workshop. Maybe a personal training session...
Yes, it's a long-shot question, but if you've had a good experience somewhere, let me know!
Thanks,
Caroline
