Now I know why you need to pack your purse with protein bars, packaged tuna fish....
While visiting BIL and SIL who seem to eat only once a day, I found myself increasingly frustrated. I love them both, but we are from two different eating worlds. LOL! BIL and SIL think you should just eat whenever or whatever. Went to a sit down restaurant with them and both of them ordered enough food that they would not need anymore calories for the rest of the day. The problem started about 3 hours after we ate. We all wanted to see a movie and then go to Red Lobster afterwards. The movie would run at least 2 hours so SIL suggested we just all load up on popcorn and nachos to hold us over. I was getting irritated and trying to explain that I don't want to eat that stuff. (I was bad the week before and had chocolate candy bars and some popcorn and now I got to get my bodyfat back down to where it was) Anyhow, lucky for me, I had a protein bar in my purse, but I felt that wasn't enough of GOOD food to hold me over, but just had to deal with it until dinner. I wasn't going to eat crap like last week. O.k., the movie was finially over and SIL and BIL said now that they did not want to go out to Red Lobster because they had stuffed themselves with popcorn and such. Well that just really did it for me! I was mad!!!! Then we go to Red Lobster without them to find out the wait would be 1 hour!!!!! No more protein bars left in purse and stuck in a crowded city so I went to bed without. It seems like lately if I eat anything too late, I gain weight so I didn't know what else to do. So frustrating, just had to vent.
