A question for itread users

Have any of you used the outdoor set 6? It seems like it is good for a beginner. Just wondering what your thoughts were on this program.

Jenn:)

I *heart* Itread but have never used any of the outdoor work outs. You can always take it down to a level that works for you no matter what. I know during the TM Itreads she gives 3 levels for walkers, joggers and runners. She may do it for the outdoor versions as well or, just do it for yourself! I'm sure it's a fantastic work out no matter what though! Have fun if you decide to go for it and let us know what you think!:)

Thanks Wendy.

It does say in every description for walkers, joggers and runners.
I would think on tm it would be easy to do hills, but I don't know how I would incorporate them if I were outdoors and had no hills.

I was also looking at cardio coach but again don't know what to do about the hills.

Plus I have no clue on how to download them.

I will have to see if DH has clue.

Hi Jenn.

I was just reading a CC thread Y'day where someone was inquiring about "creating" hills outdoors when you have none. She said she normally sprints during hills but was about to do a work out that had both sprints AND hills. Someone suggested doing walking lunges during hills.

As far as downloading they are very easy to do. I download them from the website onto my computer into my My Music folder. To do that you just click on the link and press "save". From there I go to My Music and drag and drop them into my ITunes for upload on to my Ipod. Do you have an Ipod or another mp3 player that does not use Itunes? When I had another mp3 player I was able to upload them onto it directly from the My Music folder.

HTH!

I have a Sony mp3 player.

Any time I have tried to download music it seems to only be compatible with the sony music library.

I also read that thread and will go look around on the vf forum for more info.

Jenn-I've used iTread 6 outdoors twice. I was concerned how it would be, but I LOVED IT! Try it out. I usually do iTreads indoors on the TM, and this was my first outdoor iTread. I was happily surprised. For different intervals, she has you pick something in front of you...a bridge, a mailbox, a tree, etc...and run at a certain intensity level till you get to (or beyond) that point. I really did like it!

Hi I have all the itread outdoors! I do all my running outside and I just love these workouts! You can definetely pick your own intensity level. I got these when I first started running and they really help build your endurance:)

Hi, I have the I-Tread and I-climb workouts and really like them.. does anyone know what the promotional codes are that still work? My niece is starting to jog/walk/run and I told her about the promo codes so she could try them out, .. I can find 2 codes (CW2007, and AH2007, but not sure if these work or what the 3rd was..I even did a search on all the forums here and only came up with the 2..

Jenn,

I consider myself a beginner and I really like the outdoor #6. I got the 60 min. one which can be used as 60 minutes or 2 30 mins. You go at your own pace, so it will advance with you as you are ready. I actually like it better then the Itread for treadmills that tell you to set your treadmill at a specific pace. My speed is always between the walker setting and jogger setting so I have a hard time remembering where my setting on the treadmill should be. Since the outdoor one is based on perceived exertion I set my pace accordingly.

Ok I signed up for the a la carte package. I might switch to the monthly program if I can figure out how to download.

I used the promo code and got the itread for free. THat is awesome. Thank you to whom ever put those up here.

I clicked download and have my mp3 player plugged in but I can't find the download on my computer. Luckily this is a free one.

Jenn;-)
