A little disappointed w/Amy Bento

I ordered the Xtreme 2 pack--kickbox & abs--last week. My card was charged immediately. Then I got an email from her that said something like "hopefully these will be in stock by November."

I'm new to Amy so maybe I'm missing something. Are these new workouts & did I pre-order at a discount? I really don't like to be charged for something until it's actually been shipped, & here I've been charged at least 2 months in advance. That just seems wrong. x(

ETA: nevermind, I just re-checked & they are pre-orders, darnit. I am just dying to feed my new kickboxing addiction......:p

Beavs, do you have any of her other workouts? How are they? The very idea of Extreme Kickboxing is just giving me goosebumps......I'm hoping it'll be a serious, sweaty, butt-kicking workout--I haven't found any other kickbox workouts that are killer but fun other than KPC. (I don't really consider Kick Max a kick box workout b/c of the blasts, but I am so looking forward to Cathe's boxing series!)

Laura, did you try fitbytracey.com? She is also a new instructor, but her workouts were produced by CIA and I heard she is shipping on Friday. Apparently the kickboxing is a little abbreviated, but you might want to check her out.

Laura, I have 3 of Amy's original workouts and am looking forward to her new KickboxExtreme and Pump Extreme. I have not preordered yet but will. If you look on her forums she has pictures of the Kickbox extreme. If I remember right Greg Twombly did these. Isn't that the same as CIA?? He does those too?? Anyway I think they look great. I need some kind of heavy bag though. They did use a free standing one that looks like it would not take up to much room. They are supposed to have someone doing an alternative to the bag. It will be good to have this to alternate with the ones Cathe has planned later:) I do like her others. Just not long enough. I use the cardio on Step & Pump as an add on. The cardio on A Tem boot camp is intense. I sometimes go to each segment and do them twice for a great cardio blast. It is hard to compare someone else to Cathe.

Laura, I tried some of her first set of workouts. They definitely had potential, but they were a little too short. Some of her exercises in the A-Team Bootcamp were really original. I am glad that I tried these DVDs because I do think that she has potential. I did preorder this set of workouts. Here is some information about Amy's Kickbox workout.

Vs being charged for Cathe's upcoming workouts over a year ago?}(

Laura, I think I'm going to order her kickbox workout as well. I'm definitely sticking with Cathe for weights, but if you look at her pictures, she's doing a type of pull up using, a lot (I'm guessing 14) risers!

Laura,
I enjoyed her DVDs. I thought the exercises were original and the music decent. She is working with Greg Twombly of CIA fame on the new set and the pics look promising. She seems very responsive to questions and comments. In short, I really like her. If you have access to Flickety Fit you might try before you buy--that is what I did. The new DVDs looks like they will be fun }(
