A KB confession & some circuit Qs

Cathlete
OK, I started using kettlebells last summer, mostly as a circuit/endurance w/o since I already have a heavy lifting routine that I love. So, KBs every Sat since about July 2008.

Here's my confession. KBs bore the daylights outta me. Seems to me there are only about 10 moves total, & the only difference in the w/os is the sequencing, the # of reps & the time. I have almost all the AOS w/os & truthfully, I can hardly tell the difference betw. any of them.

I went back to Cathe's circuits--started w/Drill Max, OMG! And I realized how much more fun they are than the KB w/os. The KBs were OK for a change, but they got stale really fast. Cathe's stuff, OTOH, never seems to get old.

So on to my circuit Q--I have the following Cathe circuits:

Drill Max
Circuit Max (love this w/o--read some so-so reviews a few weeks ago & I admit it's not the greatest strength builder, but it is some serious cardio & endurance!)
BM2
Cardio & Weights

I'm looking for more circuit/cardio based workouts, 60-90 minutes long. Am I missing any? Perhaps by other instructors as well? But they MUST have the cardio factor as well. I know Amy & Tracey have some stuff, but I don't know how they compare to Cathe's. So I'd welcome any suggestions please. :)

Disclaimer: I have 4DS too, but I don't really consider that circuit.

Kettlebells boring? Blasphemy!!!:p;)

I guess I just went from the 1st circle of hell to the 2nd. :D

Oh, almost forgot, can't do high step. I have a couple of those too, but since I moved to my new house w/the low ceilinged basement high step is no longer an option.

Laura -

I have a few suggestions.

Low Impact Circuit - I actually liked the strength work in this better than the cardio which was a little too boring and repetitious for me. Has some good premixes. Pretty good music. I hope you like Girls Just Wanna Have Fun because you would be hearing a lot of it.

Hardcore Extreme - Really like this one. Mixture of Kick Max, Low Max IMAX 3 and HSC. #2 is the most cardio with IMAX 3 and Low Max. #3 includes the leg drills from Kick Max. #1 is the most circuit type workout.

Terminator - Another great one! The Gauntlet is the best for me. Compilation of the Intensity series. These are all long workouts (between 70-80 minutes). The Viper is the long one at 80; the other two are 70. IMAX Xtreme has the most cardio. Viper has the most strength (lots of Muscle Endurance).

As for other instructors, I love Hard Work Conditioning with Patrick Goudeau. He uses basic moves for cardio. Here is a review: http://www.videofitness.com/reviews/goudeau-hwc.php He also incorporates a lot of balance moves. Uses lots of compound moves. There is also a Hard Work Conditioning 2 which is supposed to be even better. You can check it out at collage.

Circuit Zone (Tracey Staehle) - This one got mixed reviews but I loved it. It's been a little while since I've done it. I think it has about 7 cycles and some are repeated for a bonus. A majority of leg work is non-weighted. She uses the versa loops a lot. Heart rate stayed up there. This one also has basic moves for cardio.

HTH.
