I have been working out for many years, so I have not taken too long to get Cathe's steps down. And as for proper form, I have read and read and done and done, like so many of you, that I have that down too.
BUT, for someone just getting started, I think it would be GREAT for a video/DVD that taught the steps on the Step, the proper weight lifting techniques, and what the names of all the moves are.
For me, not knowing too much about kickboxing, I would have benefitted from a discussion about the different kicks and punches. Such as the snap/recoil which I am thinking I might be doing right.
A slower video that just teaches these basics, so that the following workouts would not have to take too much time explaining them, and just some short pointers on the workouts would be enough.
A video/DVD that takes you through each ROM for each lift. Proper form and technique.
Slow motion on some of the more intricate step moves.
Different angles on the kicks and punches.
All on one DVD/video that teaches newbies, and refreshes "currents".
Kind of like a foreign language course!
