60 Day No Fast Food/Sugar-ose Challenge

Well day 6 here and still going strong. It was a close one though yesterday when my kids and dh brought candy bars in the house. But I did it, I don't know how, but I did. Did I say it was hard. Picture, scratching head, pulling hair, biting nails and sweats. Ok a bit of an exaggeration but it did take alot to pull the reigns on myself

Today is my last day of spring break and back to work tomorrow. I'm ready, although the week is nice, it was too long. Maybe, if it hadn't of been so rainy and cold

Hi Carrie -

I think the forums are pretty slow on Sundays so that may be why no one is around. I think it's a good check-in so just see how it goes.

I went to a party last night and passed on all of the desserts except for a spoonful (or two) of ice cream. This was a major feat for me so I'm happy!!!!

I'm a school nurse but we went back to work last Wednesday after a week and a half off. What kind of school do you work in? Did you have a full two weeks off?

I was just reading all of the hype on videofitness.com about the new "Squeeze" dvd. It sounds interesting. I have so many dvds in my collection that just "collect" dust. We'll see......money burns a hole in my pocket.

Okay, I'll be back tomorrow too. If you don't feel that you're getting too much response to this thread and you don't feel like starting them, then I guess it would be time to give it up. I, for one, don't like starting threads but like to interject here and there. (especially if I've been good, lol or have something to share).

Great job Nancy! I would have had a hard time with the ice cream

I'm a substitute teacher right now, and am teetering between finishing up at grad school either in school counseling which I'm currently enrolled or change it to special edu. since I absolutely love working with special needs children.

We only had a week off, but it was enough. I have to check out the new "Squeeze" dvd...yes, I have the same hole burning in my pocket
