6 month alumni ~~~ Week of Nov 22

Hi All! Well I got CCPP done! 60 minutes of great spinning! It has a little bit of everything: intervals, hills, sprints, more hills and then steady state! I'm a sweaty mess!

Kim, have a great great time! Take pictures! You would really love CCPP. It's very motivating. It was created for this event: Choose Life. I didn't know about this until long after, but a group of Catheites do it the last Saturday of every month. I joined in around April or so.

Gayle, I love pomegranites! In fact I had one this morning! I seed them and then put them in my oatmeal! I love them. I have a system and can usually seed one on about 10 minutes. The ones I've been getting are really big this year and last me about 4 days (if I can make it go that long!) They are so delicious!!!

Rachel, I'm glad you made it through Step Jam! Regarding the bag...we actually have one but it has to hang from our squat rack. (I've never used it - DH used to do martial arts.) So I'm concerned that if I am kicking it I might miss and kick the frame of the squat rack. I'd like to get a standing one like in the pictures but DH will fight me on that (I'm sure!). I'll have to go test it and see...there may be more room than I think. But in all honesty, I don't know if it's something I would do a lot or not. I'm sure once I see the workout I'll want to! LOL!

Cendrine, glad you're feeling a little better! Oh I really am feeling for you today! Yes, you're right, I've gone a little spell here with less headaches and part of it is because it's raining now. A lot of mine are caused by weather changes so I tend to have more in the spring and summer. BUT, since I've started these hot flashes, I've had less! I'm going to go back through my log and see...but my lack of hormone fluctuations has helped as well I'm sure.

Got to get in the shower. DH and I are spending the day with some friends in Seattle so got to get going! I'll check with you all tonight!
 
I can't sleep because I'm too excited and yet the kids are sound asleep;) Our flight isn't till 3pm so time to do swimming lessons then lunch before we head to the airport. Hope everyone has a great week! Cendrine, I hope your back is feeling better soon!
